Why the hell don't they give voynov 5 on 3 time. How stupid is our PP management that we still play DD on a 5 on 3. Our PP sucks and its the players but man we can put a better shooter from the blueline and we dont. Sutter/Payne need to get their heads on straight and put VV as our Number 1 PP unit. DD just looks like an idiot out there.

Howard looks so comfortable against us all the time, when will we ever run him, stir things up, get him off his game.

I agree with Voynov needing to be on the PP, but his zone entry is absolutely brutal. Needs to work on that. Playing Carter the way we are on the PP is absolutely DUMB. He shouldn't even be out there unless we use him correctly.

Please tell me this is the last time the Kings play the Wings.

So boring, the Kings don't get up for these games.

You get it sir. That is why DD is out there and Voynov is not. Drew is capable of skating straight into the zone without dumping the puck or having to do anything with it. Then everyone gets set and so things go.

If DD wasn't out there we'd have a hell of a time even setting up the PP. Kopitar and Richards aren't consistent in gaining zone entry.

He is, but he hasn't had a great season. Unfortunately playing the Kings has been a good thing for him.

Going from a mediocre defensive team to one of the worst will do that to a goalie.

He's not a bad goalie...I wonder why he's got that reputation? Winged Wheel?

Isn't having your best shooter more important than having your best pucking moving defensman on a 5 on 3..

DD and VV should both be on the power play. MR and Kopi are playmakers... Carter is the only dangerous shot we have on the PP (ok sometimes brown is dangerous).

The best our PP has ever looked was the Vancouver series 2 years ago when we had both JJ and DD QBing the PP

They do, they have Carter out on the 5 on 3.

I meant Defenseman wise, Doughty puck entries haven't gotten us any goals or won us any games, but Voynovs simple lethal shots have gotten us goals. I dont see why Sutter/Payne would choose doughty's ability to skate in with the puck more important than Voynovs lethal goal scoring shot.

Remember a long time ago DD got his stick blade changed for a slap shot blade kind of stick. I think that was a terrible move, maybe his stick is making his shots bad. I think he should use the blade he first started off with.

VV has 2 game winners. I agree with you, he needs to be out there.

The ice seems to be really ****ing bad again. People are falling a lot and fumbling the puck. God I hate how this is always an issue for us...
