Please tell me Johansen isn't injured. I know he collided with the post, and that doesn't exactly tickle, but he appeared to be fine the rest of the game? I've also heard Dubi could be back for this too?
Another thing, how can Skille be on the injured list, but still be playing in this game?

As of yesterday Johansen did not practice and was questenable for tonight. Sounded like it was more then just the collision with the net.

Dubi is not playing tonight and is "day to day week to week" whatever that means.

Calvert and Skille could return tonight.

This is a common way I experience sports injuries. You ding up your leg, it stings like hell at first, then you're fine to play after a few minutes, and then the next morning it's damn near unusable.

#CBJ center Ryan Johanson told me earlier this morning that he was feeling better and was going to hopefully join the team for morning skate

“@jrimercbj: Judging by the line rushes Johanson looks like a go for the #CBJ vs the #RedWings tonight.â€

And now add inability to spell to the list...

Richards says both Skille and Calvert are healthy but won't play...so I guess he thinks Tropp/Boll > Calvert/Skille? Questionable reasoning there, if we win I won't be bothered though.

100% healthy or good enough to play? Rather them sit another game instead of "re-aggravating" something.

Didn't he say something yesterday about "keeping the group that's won two straight"? If that's really his thought process, I gotta say, I disagree with it. Just because a group has won two straight doesn't mean that's the best group you can ice. Like, If Joey was hurt those two games he wouldn't put him in this game? Seems a tad flawed...

Yeah, I really think it's time to let Wennberg find his game in Springfield. Joey/Jenner/Arty/Chaput is decent enough down the middle. Send him down to adjust to North America. I'd also prefer Skille over Boll, Tropp, and Cracknell. Same for Calvert.

Praise be to the Patron Saint of kicking Detroit ass, Vinny Prospal. Hail Vinny.
I think we need to honor St. Vinny by having as many fans as possible do a scoreboard point at some point in the game. (I'd join in, but I'm missing this one so that I can strangle burninate politely meet with some folks for whom we're hosting a website that's caused us all kinds of security woes...)

I really don't get the thought process of sending him down. I mean I know people want to send him down to gain his "scoring touch" but he's getting better every game and gaining more confidence playing in the nhl then he ever would in the AHL. Ever since they attempted to send him down he's played with more confidence and physicality in his game. I haven't seen anything of late that warrants another player taking his spot, or him playing himself out of a spot.

We are short one top 9 F when/if everyone is healthy if you don't consider Gibbons a top 9. To me its a tossup between him and Wennberg. I think it comes down to where the team feels Wennberg's development is best served. As long as he doesn't make stupid plays that cost us games, I tend to think him being up is better than sending him down.
