Bergeron shouldn't have stopped gameplay just because a clean hit was laid onto Heinen.

I'd have to agree it was the right call. Bergeron jumped Folin after a clean hit.

It kind of stinks that that's the right call in today's NHL, Bergeron is just standing up for a rookie, but that's how the game is ref'd now.

I meant that I like the spirit of the answer. It's what this team needs. Sticking up for each other. Sometimes penalties are worth it for the greater good. But I won't argue with anyone who says it wasn't a good move to go shorthanded and give up a goal for a clean hit. Both things can be true.
