I went to sleep after the second and woke up again to see they had won the game. I will definitely watch the third period this morning. When we were up to 6 shots in the first, every shot had been Pasta's.

I hope Lindholm is okay, that looked pretty bad. Fingers crossed that it isn't anything serious enough to keep him out for long and it is a bad bruise.

Nice to have a comeback win like that. Hopefully it gives them some confidence.

Just watched the highlights as I couldn’t stomach watching them after the 1st period.

When you have one of the tallest & heaviest rosters in the NHL, nice to see them for one period not playing like the 2011 Habs and see them playing like the 2011 Bruins. Skate north/south, get pucks in deep, put pucks on net, and get the big bodies to drive the net. Do that and the rest of the game opens up and you can do the pretty east/west shit.

IF they can keep this up and IF their PP comes around then we have a season.

That said, I’ll believe that when I see it for more than one period.

It's actually amazing that the Bruins have accumalated as many points as they have with almost all of their top players underperformng and ST's that are right near the bottom of the league. Looking at it logically things should definetly improve starting with the PK, you can survive having an ineffective PP as long as your PK is solid.

I am very happy with his lines I just hope he leaves 88 & 18 together as well as 63 & 28

The bottom 6 should be high end what you want

Everytime they show Monty on the bench I feel like I’m looking at a stray cat or homeless dog and want him to survive and prosper

They got a better roster then 15-1 Winnipeg

I am confident I know Winnipeg better then 99% of hockey fans and have traded half that team in SIM

Here is a tidbit - Neil Pionk ain’t that good. Vladimir Namestkinov just didn’t magically become this guy.

Cole Perfetti & Gabe Vilardi two of my former first rounders have had history of concussions

I bet I searched 200 times on these two health conditions over the years

their third pair are and were my guys - um, not great

Bruins are a 100 point team

Nice comeback win.
Refreshing to see them show up for a third period.

Brazeau is so slick.
Absolutely Brazeau can be a beast when he puts his mind to it. My
fear is that he isn't appreciated and gets let go at the end of the season or
even traded and becomes a MONSTER power forward.
I know it's a little late in his developmental stage at 26 but maybe
this is where it clicks for him, where he "gets it, feels it!"
He's a guy I don't want them to give up on because IMO
I take him 9/10 over a guy like Freddy.
Freddy can be a beast too and he knows it he just doesn't
seem to want it each and every game.

The Jets top three forwards, Ehlers/Connor and Scheifele who I think is very underrated are much better than our top 3.
They have the best goalie in the NHL right now.
The only position we are better are on dee.
Vilardi and Perfetti are good hockey players, both are top six forwards.
I would trade our #4 and #5 forwards straight up for them in a heartbeat.
I mentioned many times that we over achieved last year.
Realistically, I see the Bruins as making the playoffs in a wildcard spot with 92 points.
You are very optimistic, thinking we can get 82 points in the next 65 games....I hope I am wrong.

Jets are frauds until they actually do something. Imagine this place with winning one round in six years. team has won 3 rounds the past 13 years

I randomly woke up at 10:15 PM, and watched the entire game.

Pleasantly surprised by the result in the third period.
I had an exhausting day yesterday that started with
3.5 hours of sleep the night before.
So, I got home at 7:15 pm, ate and promptly passed out
at the kitchen table.
I sporadically woke up, looked at the tv, (I think that I posted and liked a few
posts) fell asleep again and did this for the whole game.
I finally woke up near the end of the 3rd for the expected late GA
that never happened.
Great game, I hope that all of the lessons that they learned and
applied stick and they don't regress.
Monty lives to coach another day (or month, or season).
