I didn’t think Brazeau and Marchand looked great in the first two but I really like this experiment. I thought they played better in the third. I can really see them growing as line mates. They are both so heady. They make plays in tight. Brazeau goes to the net. Marchand finds him there and then follows the puck. When the puck is anywhere near the net they play well off one another. I really like this second line.

This team is gonna have to hold teams to 2 goals or less to win in regulation on most nights. They were able to do that tonight.

Biggest positive for me is that they didn’t quit, so I’ll take it and hope we can build from there.

Leafs and Panthers lost . Only two points behind Toronto. As bad as the Bruins have been if it’s any consolation the Leafs haven’t been much better. So glad they won , if for no other reason than I get to come to this board . I was just going to stay away from here indefinitely if the Bruins lost tonight.

They need offense from McAvoy , Lindholm, Lohrei and Zadarov . I always thought McAvoy plays his best hockey when he uses his skating ability playing almost like a rover , all over the ice .
