Everyone said it was horrible. I watched it, I didn't walk away thinking it was as bad as everyone said
Rings of Power? ;) ( didnt make it out of the 3rd episode first season, lol )

Shot a doe and big buck(10pt) yesterday and had to deal with them. Good game to miss.

Sell baby sell. James Hagens is ours! The never ending rebuild is fricken awesome!

If things don't change real quick, you can think about legitimately trading Larkin. This team SUCKS.... They need way more talent and Larkin will be 32/33 plus when this team is ready with neck issues already? IDK... They better get good quick or we're wasting good years of Larkin.

This was a predictable loss, LA on the road on the 2nd night of a b2b is not easy. Anaheim was the real problem.

Not going to spend too much time on this board for now, too much negativity. Let’s see if they can turn this around the next few games.
Yeah, that makes sense, sounds about right. Gaslighting everyone that was critical of Yzerman/Red Wings last year/summer and now it's not going your way, so we'll take our little ball go home and pop back in when things look better for yourself.

Honestly though you might be right, aren't worth watching and aren't really worth talking about because they're going to do just about next to nothing.

Posts like that are exactly what’s frustrating about this board when the team is in a slump. Personal attacks are unnecessary and shouldn’t happen because a hockey team lost 2 games in a row.

We're underperforming. It sucks. Not sure changing the coach will actually change things but not a hill I'd die on.

Tbf I think now is the right time, underperformance coupled with regression/stagnant development, poor of structure and too often lack of intensity are a hallmarks of the wrong coach at the wrong time

It's really just an explanation of yourself vs an outright attack? I'm not calling you names.

I also said "last year/summer" so it's more than two games. Always moving that goal post for yourself.

Did anyone else notice that after Larkin scored as he was skating to the bench he signaled for a timeout to be called. They obviously never called a timeout and put copp and compher out there then the top guys right back out before we got scored on. Lalonde has clearly lost this room and is just flat out incompetent. He's got to go.

I'm not sure Lalonde recognized that signal  Has he ever actually taken a timeout?

Frustrating to watch when they play like this.

More than anything, the team needs a new coach, imo.

I think the team is playing this way to make it happen. The team gave up on Fester while in a playoff hunt last year and hasn’t played good hockey since last February. This dude has to go.

Detroit has two completely polar opposites as head coaches - Lalonde and Dan Campbell.

Lalonde has all the motivational skills of a wet paper sack. Meanwhile, players would run face first through a cement wall for Campbell.

Being only positive is just as annoying as being only negative, especially when there is virtually nothing from this years Wings team in the positive column. The team has played good for legit about 2.5 games this season with the rest being dud play from both the coach and virtually everyone on the team, not named Larkin, Seider and Raymond and Talbot.

Maybe, but you also can only do so much with the pieces you have.

I'd add Ed, Kaspar, Berggren, and Debrincat to the list.

Kasper and Berggren are providing little actual offence, ie; goals. Good play only goes so far when the puck isn't going in the net with them out there.

As long as they are winning shifts, they aren't getting scored on a lot. That's a big positive for a couple kids.

For Berggren sure, but Kasper is doing enough things out there to be a net positive even if he's not scoring.

Hopefully getting his first one will give him some confidence.
