I think Watson is a move you make in the summer when you can also do a proper search for a GR replacement.

I think Watson should stay in GR for a year or two but finding his replacement might not be that hard.

His assistant coach Julien has quite a good CV, 2 x QMJHL coach of the year, 1 x QMJHL GM of the year, Hlinka-Gretzky gold medal as head coach, U20 WJC gold medal as assistant coach.

Pat Mikesch, Toledo's head coach. He has kept Watson's heritige alive in Toledo, won the regular season last year but lost in the conference finals. And so far Toledo is leading the regular season again this season.

Talbot will bail him out as usual. He's playing so well with this shitty D, looked at his stats, and realized he's managed to carry shitty teams before. Only one season with a losing record.
