The scary thing is how much better this team is individually but the torts era team was more fun to support than this bc they did more with less and they actually showed up to play even if the style/structure was very difficult to watch.

This will get written off, and it's probably not worth arguing about, BUT the NHL should never make teams play a back-to-back with a flight in between games.

Been saying this for years. Last year with the condensed schedule was one thing but during a normal year it's ridiculous.

There was one good thing about the black and blue shirts with Torts when we played that style. They never took a night off regardless of the opponent...probably the only Ranger team to do so. It cost them in the long run but games like this Torts would have a stroke between periods and by the end of the game the other team was shaking their heads in frustration.

I'd imagine more of the same with trotz
