A lot means how many? Half a season? One season? Five seasons? And when should we expect even a bit of progress to become a middle 6 player and not the worst player on the team?

I would even argue that as a guy who's played hockey is entire life with a good chunk of NHL games, some of his mistakes and decisions make me question whether or not if it's due to the injury or not.

He didn't make those decisions or mistakes pre-injury. The game is going too fast right now and his confidence is only going down. I don't know how long it will take but I'll be worried if he's still like this next year.

This is ridiculous, do media members not talk and ask MSL about Hutson on pp1 every day? what are we talking about ? Who is in MSL's ear
Every time you see Marty Saint John on television, Trevor Letowski is about 3 inches away from him, giggling and whispering about in his ear.

And the Montreal media is about as soft as marshmallow soup on Marty. They treat him him with kid gloves.

But he also had an extremely small sample size pre-injury. I wouldn't really question it if he played like it for a while like Caufield did with the goalscoring.

We're talking about a 23 year old player who coughs up the puck half the time it touches his stick and can't figure how to use his size or his shot.

Dach can pull a mean cup of coffee one on one and his soft hands leads you to think he's got skill to go along with size. But those flashes are few and too far between weak and stupid plays.

He could turn it around, I would love if he turned it around, but history is littered with big guy with flashes who never figured it out. We might have traded Romanov for another Benoit Pouliot.

He wasn't playing like this pre injury. He gets a serious injured, he misses a year and he struggles. He needs time and he's on a team that can afford to give it to him.
