He was legitimately the worst goalie in the league last year by statistics and the eye test yet led the league in goals saved above expected this year. You don't make that drastic of a turnaround in one off-season.

... Grubauer was even more awful and Monty actually had a better SV perc than the New Jersey Devils.

But Monty looked worse than any of them.
