Grima time thanks to an RDS intermission. Please go away François Gagnon.

Cauf needs to calm down a bit. A lot of his missed chances look like he's just rushing his shots when he's got more time/space.

That period was the inverse of the last 4 games. Multiple goals on near zero possession.

Man Primeau giving off massive Carey Price vibes. His last couple games and tonight are showing unbelievable improvement. His lateral movement is almost identical. Very impressed.
We saw traces of this early on in his tenure he was "quiet" in his crease and looked in control. I'm not sure where that went over the next number of years but I'm pumped to see it back to the fore. I wrote you off Primeau. Can I at least saute the crow?

Me neither, but I also don't really listen to franco music. I've heard of Les Cowboys Fringants, though. Even as an anglo, it's a name that I've been hearing for the last 20+ years. I checked out a bit of their music last night, and I didn't hate it. Will probably listen to more this weekend.

Karl Tremblay was also a huge hockey and Habs fan. I think the band had season tickets. He was also giving scores when they had shows during games, each time!

Les Cowboys Fringants were created in a hockey room when Tremblay met songwriter and guitarist JF Pauzé. I think they played Midget B and they decided to make music together. Tremblay was in a metal band before but they ended up doing folk music and created the biggest french band in Quebec history.

Even though they exist since 1995, they had their biggest hit to date just 4 years ago with L'Amérique pleure. That song was on their last album before the pandemic. They were working on a 12th album to come out at the end of the year.

His loss at 47 just feels like unfinished business. They had many more songs in them that's for sure. He was their voice. I doubt they'll keep on without him, it won't be the same ever again.

He was a father of two young girls with the band's multi-instrumentist Marie-Annick Lépine.

There are multiple gatherings happening right now around the province, including a big one in his hometown of L'Assomption. I don't think I've seen a death being mourned that much in Quebec in a long time.

I'm telling y'all, something's off with Caufield's shot. Y'all never believe me, I'm good at these things.
