I spent a year in Auckland. Cricket and rugby rather grew on me, so I make an effort to keep up with the Blackcaps and All Blacks. It's fairly easy in this day and age with all the streams around. Didn't get to watch any of last night's ODI but I kept up with it on cricinfo at work.
Ahhhh, that explains it. You basically have to follow the All Blacks over here, or you'll be deported, but it's surprising seeing an American get into cricket. Then again, I believe there's a US T20 competition trying to start up and attempt to bring the sport mainstream. It'll be interesting to see how that goes.

I've lost count with the amount of times that Yandle has blown a tire on the blue line.

Watching this Edmonton feed makes me realize how much Canada really loves hockey. Pretty much every single commercial has something to do with hockey or mentions hockey in some way.

Vermette needs to start scoring or something. I need him to back up my avatar choice.

That was Yandle.

Looked like Rundlbad tried to force it to Yandle when there was an Oiler forward right there, thus just giving it away and causing a breakaway. When he couldve easily just dumped it down low.
