One of those games that Seattle probably comes out guns a blazing and fails, and sets the tone against bad teams where they end up losing... OR they win and it sets the tone against bad teams and they end up winning. It's definitely a pivotal game.
Second intermission interview with Coach Campbell. Said the team has a shooting mentality, but needs more net-front presence- get to the blue paint! Also said that Ebs is key part of the team, but this gives an opportunity for someone else to step up. #SeaKraken
I think you can talk about going net front all you want if you assamble a forward group that just isn't physically able to do so on a consistant basis.
We've been talking about the team having to go net front more since season one and it's now season four.
Francis only bringing in guys that aren't comfortable doing that(with the exception of Kartye who's not doing it enough) just doesn't really help with that either.
If this team wants to consistantly go net front there need to be changes in personnel and not just saying so.
I don’t know how great their odds are against the Islanders, either. They beat Vancouver 5-2 last night, tied Edmonton and NJD, and beat Ottawa and PIT in their last 5 games. Solid wins against solid teams.
