I’m so late to the party, but it’s nice to see the Kraken generating chances.
My only concern would be that they seem inconsistent in how they do so.
Short connected possession driven passes seem to have given way to taking risks that a better team than Chicago will burn you on.

Way more nervy than it needed to be on that period. If eberle is out for any length beniers will have to really step up.

I think I'm ready for burakovsky and wright to sit some games for a bit.

Thought Evans was great

The puck just dies on Burakovsky's stick, and he just doesn't seem to click with anyone. It's kind of depressing.

Even though it is against a team with problems, it's nice to win one we were expected to win. It seems Gourde/Tanev seem to be the straws that are stirring the drink lately.

Honestly the eye-test gave the impression that Gourde and Bjorkstrand's bars on that graph should be swapped. Funny, that.

The more I read post-game comments, including from Blackhawks writers, it WAS a pretty difficult game to watch. The first two periods were utterly putrid on Chicago's behalf and the Kraken just sort of durdled around either not taking advantage of good chances or flat out missing them when they landed in their laps. Kraken kind of dodged a bullet that when Chicago finally woke up after the Donato goal that they were able to keep it together, but it wasn't real pretty.

We are only two points away from a wild card slot....and the schedule looks promising for awhile, too.

This is something I wish Eberle or other leaders in the team could do. Maybe they already are but if that is the case, they need to do a better job.
