We never left Rongo status. This team has sucked at "for" stats since Torts took over.

We took a brief detour late into AV's tenure and during Quinn's of also sucking at "against" stats, that's the only difference.

And yet you were complaining hard about late tenure AV.

"And yet" ????
They were top 5 2013-14. No coincidence they made the cup that year.

Actually they were #1 lol.
I miss that team.

They accidentally got a bunch of players who are good at even strength. Turns out having good 5v5 players is all it takes.

My eye test shows me that with the exception of the first Minnesota game we've been getting more chances 5 on 5. Ironically we scored 4 5 on 5 goals in that Minnesota game but got dominated the rest of the time.

I misread it my bad.

We're a lot better than we were but we were down there with the Sharks the first handful of games, so the bar is low.

Getting back to Rongo status? Or is this reflective of missing Fox ?
Just proves how bad this matchup is in terms of 5on5 play. Sticking with the same lineup won’t change those results.

Could be a long night if Rangers don’t draw any penalties early (and often).

And then there’s Jarry - who will either give up 5 easy ones or get a shutout.

Quick to start tonight. He’s been good lately.

Igor still looks rusty the last few games. Does anyone think he can still be hurt?
