I've learned that people here are idiots when it comes to goaltending.

The only goal which was Andersens fault is the 1st one.

After that every goal has been the team or an individual players fault.

Tavares for the 2nd
The whole pp unit for not noticing the time left on the penalty for the 3rd

Whoever was not in the zone on the empty one time connor brown goal at the end of the PK

I never played anything close to high level of hockey but seriously it's easy to see that Andersen has no chance on the 2nd and 4th goals and the 3rd goal was just a breakaway with a filthy move.

Yes because of course goalies should never be expected to make a save when a team makes a mistake...

Tavares completely swamped our momentum with that horrific giveaway.

Andersen gave the puck away with a stupid play up the boards first. Why not just leave the puck for Brodie instead of putting a suicide pass up the boards with literally no pressure? He started that whole sequence with a terrible decision. Tavares at least flubbed his pass, which is no excuse, but he at least made a play that would have been fine if he did not flub it. Andersen flat out made a play that never should have been made regardless of what happened.

He also got undressed by a guy who is Ottawa's version of Marincin on the third goal.

Really can’t get over how a stupid giveaway by our Captain of all people in the final seconds of a period was the catalyst for all this. At worst this should be a 5-2 game, not us being on the precipice of a complete collapse.

Lol at blaming Andersen. 2nd goal was 100% on JT. 3rd goal was a breakaway. 4th goal he had zero chance. Only the first goal was soft.

Yes because of course goalies should never be expected to make a save when a team makes a mistake...

The shots he faced were in prime scoring areas. Its unlikely most goalies save the 2nd and 4th goal. The 3rd one maybe but the zub dude made a great move.

Andersen isn't a top 5 goalie, he cant give us those ridiculous types of saves constantly like a Vasilevski, Rask, Bishop, Shetorkin, Fleury can.

He is a good starter but he wont be making highlight saves in those type of chances often
