I think it's to make the switch next year, that is Matthews C and everybody knows it.

If Tavaras is a good Captain, then he needs to give it up by next year at the latest. This is Matthews team and he's far and away the best player. Besides, it's not like JT is much of a leader. He's a very quiet guy that really doesn't say much. His talking was always done on the ice, but he can't even seem to do that anymore.

Agree - definitely not saying they should strip him of the C. That can't happen. However, won't stop me from simply dreaming of a world where they never gave it to him at all.
