Still struggling to get space for a dangerous shot though

Same story all season. Played pretty well but 1 mistake winds up in the back of their net and our goaltending can't make the big save.

the d was baiting that...if he controlled it and spotted him a split second sooner he coulda him or if he knew he was there before he got to the puck he coulda whipped it into space. d was sitting on it though by the time it was there for trocheck coulda made it / saw kakko out wide

which is f***ing hilarious to me because I figured we just spent the better part of 5 years trying to become what the 2014-2015 squad couldn't but for some odd reason we seem to be right back where we started. I waited years to see us sign a player of Panarin's caliber and it seems more and more likely that we are going to truly waste it all, coupled with getting gifted a #2 and a f***ing #1 overall pick that don't turn out like the others it's more than frustrating to witness
