It was a bit of a dive but he’s not a war criminal or anything.

He did take a bit of an accidental butt end of the stick to the face when he went in to start scrum scumming.

I expected more from Wahlstrom, has been pretty disappointing, but it is only one tournament.

He had the same deficiencies in his game for a while. He has tunnel vision doesn't move his feet and has limited offensive and defensive awarness.

That's just your warped perspective. The refs couldn't care less who won this game, the refs are performing for jobs too in a tournament like this.

Honestly, one of the worst dives I’ve ever seen. That’s some soccer or basketball ****. Take an open glove on the jaw and act like you just caught a Mike Tyson right hook.

There's like a full second before Wahlstrom goes down where you can see it on his face as he's thinking about selling the call before he does it. People shouldn't notice things like that. Like if you're gonna dive at least do it well. Preferably don't do it at all, but that was pathetic.

that is what usually happens although maybe the size difference was so much they decided not to bother. Even if the forward had no stick and gave it to the D I would want him to change too. I hate 5 on 3 and a half...it is worse than 5 on 3 as you think you have someone in position but you really don't.

Yep, easier too on the PK structure for a forward to skate to the bench for a change or another stick then for a D.

a 19 year old kid in a high pressure game..he over acted - big deal..we see that shit all the time from NHLers on a Tuesday night..Marchand and Crosby did it weekly..I like/dislike Wall-E no different because of it..

He's off the Marchand/Comtois strand... super talented player who likes to stir it up. Czechs need to ignore him after whistles. But be really careful with him during play.. he hammered a post 5 minutes ago.

Sadly, I'm a big fan of his.
