Just stupid. What on earth is that first line. Three guys that will always look to pass no matter what situation they are in. Putting a top goal scorer with Jake Evans who can’t pass. And what is the obsession with the 3rd line. Just promote Gallagher to spark the top 6.

Not sure how insisting Dach plays on the top line helps him get his game back
Matching him up versus top defense pairings and asking him to defend against top forwards is about the worst thing you could do considering his current game

I think at this point, there is a downside to anything that is tried. It goes back to a depth issue, which I think some people here severely underestimated back in training camp.

I will say it... Xhekaj - Struble has been the most stable D pairing in these last 4 games. Yes, I nkow they play 3rd pair minutes but still.
