Solid win after a horrible first period.

Joey doing his thing and keeping the guys in it and the team finally waking up in the 2nd period was the key to win this one.

McCann also keeps on scoring.

McCann is the Kraken's best player

Fight me

.950

I never want to see Grubauer again.

Nah, I saw they sent down Stezka today so I’m assuming that means we’ll get to enjoy more of Grubauer here real soon.

Oh yeah. Gru is going to get games as long as he is on the roster. The question is how many. If they are going to continue with the 1A, 1B shit show, they are just not putting the teams best option in net. It's not like this season is a one-off. Dude is in season 4 with the Kraken and has never had a 0.9SV% season or better.

Daccord's sample size is smaller but he is sitting at a SV% of 0.916 over the 60 games he has started between last season and this one.

With nearly the exact same defensive players throughout.

I think even without the Grubauer injury/injuries it was probably going to be something like 50 - 32 in favour of Joey.
Bylsma seemed to have made that decision pretty early after Grubi just couldn't get it done.

Would be great if Grubi somehow could turn it around but it seems pretty likely that this will be his last season in Seattle and he'll need to find a team that wants him as a reclamation project after that.
