I like the man. He’d make a great neighbour, but I didn’t like him as the head coach hire and the season thus far has not added to his resume.

I hope Quebec gets first dibs on the next franchise. Always had a bit of a soft spot for the Nordiques. They had some talented players: Peter and Anton Stasny, Michel Goulet, Mats Sundin, Joe Sakic.

Weirdly, after seeing your miss post of the Jackets stats, comparing the two makes the Jackets look like the better team. I missed the first period. Was it THAT bad? Eye test of 2nd and 3rd was that the Kraken were massively dominant. They must have sucked the first 20.

Oh, believe me, it was that bad. We were outplayed so badly that I found the turnaround in the second and third almost miraculous. Like, why couldn't the Kraken have started the game like that.

Went to play soccer and it was 2-0 while listening to the radio and it sounded like they were all over us. After my game, get in the car check the phone and we won 5-2. Wasn't expecting that

Legitimately surprised Borgen got the team's 3rd star, his awful defense on the 2nd CBJ goal should have taken him completely out of the running bar a hat trick. Scoring his 1st goal of the season, frankly a goal Merzlikens should have stopped, doesn't erase the earlier gaffe. I'd have given it to Tolvanen, Oleksiak or Montour, just off the top of my head.

Missed all but the 3rd period of the game. Watched the highlights and our first three goals were all because of putting a body right in front of the net. Good things just happen when we do that. That's what was working when the season started and then for whatever reason, they stopped doing that. Now they are back to it again and scoring again. Imagine that.

Good comeback after the sleepy start. SOG totally dominated by CBJ in the first.

Almost goes without saying but McCann could have gotten a star. The up-and-down nature of the team this year kind of obscures the fact of what a terrific year he is having so far.

I did this a long time ago, but shut off completely from modern social media. I’ve downsized to ONLY HF for forums as well. It’s been amazing. Not knowing how shitty people are is the best.
