The Bruins have one legit top 6 talent in Pasta who this year looks lazier than ever. Marchand is working his ass off and producing but looks old and much slower. Lindholm is very meh. Zacha if you want to win a cup should be on a third line. Fire Montgomery sure, but there is very little talent up front. Shocking they’re at the cap with what they have. So a huge reason for the lack of success needs to be placed with Sweeney.
My favourite play was when he dumped the puck in from the blue line, skated in as far as the faceoff dot, then peeled-off cross ice for a change. If you’re going to dump it in and change then dump it in and change. Don’t skate halfway in and then decide to change. Waste of time and space.

Monty telling the media to do his job for him should be all Sweeney needs to can him.
We keep playing like we have been and were on pace for about 80 points for the season. This I highly doubt will put us in any playoff spot. Let's face we are not that good and we might as well realize it.

Stop and think about this for a second. No shots on goal in the entire third period. Zero. Not one. That's this team and here I see some people still thinking this team will be so good in the playoffs.

This team was supposed to be the return of the Big Bad Bruins. Well, they are big, and they are bad, but they are nowhere near the Big Bad Bruins. Matter of fact Florida just laughed at them and their "statement games" , Toronto smacked them last game and now Ottawa sent a guy to the locker room. Simply outplayed in every aspect of the game.
and if you think that's the competition you haven't seen Buffalo this year. Right now, in the division, we are probably only better than Montreal.

I'm not panicking firing coaches or staff firing gm and president is all nonsense especially 10 days into November. All stupidity right now. This team night win 3 in a row and were in serious business again. Patience right now.
Montgomery has pulled a lot of different cards- yelling at Marchand, benching Pasta, yelling at them in practice, constantly shuffling lines. They’ve simply checked out on him. Probably realize that he gets cooked by Paul Maurice and know they won’t go anywhere with him

I am just so disappointed in these players. They are the elite and have to use a coach as a scapegoat to skate around in circles. You are professionals. Act like it.
They do have a favorable schedule the rest of November. If they can't be 2 or 3 over. 500 by then I think you have to pull the trigger. Don't think JM is to blame at all but that's the way it is. Sweeney should go really but that won't happen til the end of next season probably
Fire the coaching staff into the sun. I know they aren't the most talented team on paper but they should be better than this. New guys haven't really clicked yet but how can we expect them to settle in if our returning guys are playing like they don't have a clue? How many more times does Monty say "I don't know" before they go and find someone who does know?
