Outplayed by a fair margin. Once again Monty couldn’t resist mixing up the lines. Ottawa is a fun team to watch, lots of skill….sigh!

Their inability to give a complete effort is what frustrates me the most. The coaching staff still needs to go, bring in someone new, Sacco is not the answer.

Ottawa deserved the win, we got a point because of Swayman. The Sens won, but Swayman was better than Ullmark.

Can it get worse? Yes, but then at least you know what you really are and can move pieces at the deadline. Right now I'm with everyone else - are we good? no - are we bad? not confirmed yet. Kick them all in the a$$ with the only logical move - Old Yeller treatment for Monty and let's find out.

That is correct but things like these bad special teams is something he has to own.They are definitely better then that 3rd period as well.

The only way this team can compete will be by adopting a road game mentality every game...even at home. 3 guys back, clog the front of the net to force shots from the outside...then pray for odd man rushes to win 1 goal games. That's all this roster can aspire to.

With how the cap is generally in the NHL, it’s so hard to make a trade vs 20 years ago. So this is the roster unless they go out on a limb and make a move. But half the team has no trade clauses, so that leads to Monty getting the boot. If that happens I have a hard time believing whomever takes over can turn this around. It’s a poor roster with too many of the same type forwards (3rd and 4th liners), little offence and a D that look like the keystone cops at times. LY our goalies bailed us out more than we realized I think.
