The night that you love the loser point.

I usually see it like squash. A necessary evil

But on these nights, it's like bacon

Can't be too sure.

The average incubation period for mumps is 16-18 days, with a range of 12–25 days
These are avian mumps that only effect other fowl .

Like the bird flu in reverse with a backup camera

Sutter is hilarious in interviews. I swear. Its awesome.

Babcock always just says "realgud" alot.

Strange to see Pearson Toffoli Benched. When you say they are sick you mean with the flu? Is this coming back to the salary cap stuff?? (cant sit them and get replacements) Or They both just played so bad they got benched?

Who ever really knows anymore  This team has been through so much crap this year already. So many off-ice shenanigans and injuries.

Putting the McMess combo out there really emphasizes to the NHL they're killing us with the cap space inaction. I mean that was the point, right?

Likely sick, Sutter probably figured he'd rather play them 8-10 minutes than Andreoff/Nolan. He might regret that decision now, so we'll see what tomorrow's lineup looks like. But I can say with relative confidence that their performance isn't a concern.

I dunno but I am a little tired of pretending like these cap crunch signing fringe NHL players 1 step from permanent residency in AHL are going to mean anything.

It will be a glorious day when we can healthy scratch McNabb. (like 3X what it was when we could scratch Andy, he wasn't too bad it was just nice to have the option)

Is it trade deadline yet? Can we bounce Nolan?

Its November and we already lost the cup

great solid game, back and forth. Kopitar made Andersen his fool in the penalty shot, but my god Kesler was on point. Good game as always, Kings.

Honestly, it REALLY sucked seeing Kesler play so well tonight. Scary times if he stays healthy for you guys (for us).

Tip of the fedora.

09-10: 26.8, .907
10-11: 26.7, .918
11-12: 27.0, .929
12-13: 24.0, .902
13-14: 24.1, .915
14-15: 33.8, .939

Only 1 MVP on the team so far this year.

All I know is that we need to get our D under control. Bleeding shots against and routinely getting trounced in possession is no faith builder. I'd rather we go back to limiting opponents to 17 shots and losing 2-1, Quick's save percentage be damned.

The thing I keep reminding myself of is that the Kings have played almost an extra full season's worth of games than most other teams in the last 3 years. All playoff level games at that. That's 40, 50, 60 more games of bumps and bruises, with less time off during the summer.

It's easy to write it off and say they're pacing themselves. It's weird saying that, like the Kings are special and above the regular season. Plus, how could anyone on the outside know if they are? Maybe they are. Or, maybe they're not as good as they've been. We'll only find the answer as the season plays itself out.

Can the Kings turn the switch on whenever? They have before. Really in both Cup wins they did it. Does that mean they can do it again? It's not guaranteed. If there's a team that has earned the benefit of the doubt though, it's this one.

SOG's have been a problem for most games this year and it's not just tied to SLava being out. Greene has struggled and you add 2 new fairly inexperienced guys and injuries, that's a recipe for trouble. ANd you have to hope that pushing DD's TOI to over 30 min per won't cause an injury .

But part of the blame is on some of the forwards, who are not making smart decisions back there and in some cases being lazy.

DL was trying to get a D last tradedeadline and I think he'll actually do that sooner this year. And as some have already said, they do miss MItchell, who could control the temp. back there , and had great instincts and breakout passes.

Well on the brightside, back to back 5 goal games and 3 of 4 points against divisional rivals. I'll take it.

Hopefully Toffoli and Pearson were the sick ones, because they really can't keep stinking at ES on the road.

They might have been sick, but their performance wasn't good at all last night. Especially toffoli. They are kids so their play will fluctuate more than most. Sutter could be sending subtle messages with their energy levels...don't know for certain. Hoping it was just illness.

That being said, I'm really getting concerned about Stoll. I've always been skeptical on his offensive abilities, but since he is 2 steps slower, his defensive game is struggling . This leads to 2 outcomes, either he floats at the blue line to play defensive, or he gets caught down low and can't get back fast enough , which leads to 3-2s. If his speed doesn't improve, he throws off the pace and spacing for the entire line.
