Where's Waldo (Perron)?

His situation seems to be pretty complicated. He's with the team and participating in practices, but there isn't any timeline for his return. Not sure if that's because he needs to always be available should there be an emergency with his baby, or if he's possibly dealing with an injury as well.

Hopefully he's back soon as we need his presence on the third line.

All 3 Cs in the lineup? It can't be.

  • In the Senators' last 264 games, they have only played 47 games with stars Josh Norris, Shane Pinto, and Tim Stutzle together in the lineup.
  • During those 47 games, the Senators achieved a record of 42 wins, 10 losses, and 6 overtime losses (42-10-6).

Crazy shit.

Think the Sens have an advantage this game. Leaves are still proving to their coach they are a tough team and won’t handle the response to the Greig slapper like a mature team would. Leaves are going to try and bully Ottawa but Brady and co. Will bully back and I don’t think the Leafs will handle it well on home ice.

Sens 5-4

I'm glad to hear they are accommodating his needs (assuming he isn't also injured), while we may need him back, some things are more important, as I'm sure you'd agree.

When he is ready and available, it will be interesting to see who comes out (Gaudette, Cousins, MacEwen, or Gregor?) I'd guess one of MacEwen or Cousins, but it's tough to break up a 4th line that has been so good.

I want Greig to score an empty net goal tonight, but this time very gently deposit the puck into the Leafs net

We take this one and we've beat the top 4 teams in the Atlantic.

I think with a win here they can really get on a roll. We need a 12-3 type run

I'm glad Pinto is back, but I wish it wasn't at Ostapchuk's expense. Then again, hard to remove anyone from the bottom 6, as they've all been playing pretty well.
