Saw #87 play years ago in Montreal, and it was a great game.........as a fellow Nova Scotian, it was with friends on a Superbowl Weekend........................Fans were giving it to Crosby big time!!
Game went to OT and Pleks stole the puck from Crosby, and set up Souray for a one timer, game over!!!
Loved it !!

as of yesterday i think he was still skating in non-contact jersey... so if thats the case likely not

I went to one of his junior games when Rimouski played in Moncton and it was one of the best displays of hockey I've ever watched in my life. He's a lot older now but as a Maritimer myself it's always special to watch 87.

My lord you just made me look up scoring leaders. McDavid flirting in Mario/Wayne territory so far.

Letang scores at 12:45 in the 1st off a PP wrist shot from the blue line.

Evans scores at 14:49 in the 1st off a two on one (no pass).

Dach scores at 4:22 in the 3rd in a net front scramble, going in off a defender.

Anderson scores at 18:37 in the 3rd off a beautiful bar-down snipe off the rush.

I was sitting 4 rows off the ice, down by Fleury, somewhat off to his left, and man the building shook when Souray potted that one!!!!
Superbowl Weekends used to be fun, I would take my dad, and several friends from NS would also go up for the two games that weekend....................we stopped in 2017 when Bergevin $hit the bed, and haven't been back since..............

HuGo just might be able to get me to go back up again..............I had gone 16 years in a row ( minus the lockout year )

It was a great game, I still remember that goal it was awesome. Such a great play by Plekanec.

It's a bit early. He practiced but non-contact jersey. He has to practice without that & then his return is imminent.

My guess is next Saturday vs Philadelphia is the earliest we see him.

There are 3 practices next week Monday, Wednesday & Friday.

Pittsburgh/Montreal is usually always an open affair. If you haven't been for a while you should notice a huge difference in the ambiance as well as the product on the ice. Tickets sales and or actual attendees are trending up and much of it has to do with the positive reports from fans having had a good time in previous games.
