I just don't understand why what the team did was in anyway wrong. We did what we had to do within the rights of the contract

Really is ridiculous

Nothing is wrong with what they did but it's a pretty big flaw of the system that there is essentially no such thing as a NTC (Without NMC) to the worst team in the league for any player with minimal trade value. It should definitely be addressed in future CBA discussions.
