They say it counts because it was a continuous motion on the original shot after the whistle. But what about intent to whistle? At the moment the ref intended to blow the whistle, was it still a continuous motion or did Shesty alter the trajectory after the intent?

It's just stupid with this ambiguity. Just make the whistle the moment the play is dead. Not sooner, not later.

Apparently it’s new Rule 37. Takes ref error out of it. A slow whistle shouldn’t allow a bad goal, and a quick whistle shouldn’t prevent a good goal. Fine, but we still got f***ed last game.
