If we finish bottom 3 (like we'll probably do) what does that mean for the rebuild?
This was the year we wanted to see at least a little progression. I'm afraid this rebuild will need a reset.
It's really hard to be excited at the prospect of yet another tanking season.

Yawn

Dach should be demoted to the 4th line until he retrieves his mojo. Less pressure and a simpler game will help him.

MSL keeps insisting on things that don't work. He's still hoping for a magical "flip".
It's getting frustrating.
Unfortunatley there is no other rw except Slaf to play on the top 2 lines. The rest are shit.

Not really do you honestly think he's symptom free at that Trouba hit because I don't.
Barron rushed himself back because of his situation not because he was ready IMO.
Doctors cleared him...no way they let him play if they don't think he is good to go.

Shittier than Dach? I don't think so.
Dach played one decent game, against CGY but other than that he has not looked better than a 4th liner.

Gally has been way better. I would not object to see him promoted on the top 6 as a rw.

The Leafs are on a back to back and Matthews is missing. This is about as easy as it will get to beat them.
maybe.... but can they break the habit of looking like the tired team when their opponent is on a back to back :sarcasm:

Far too much grey area with concussion and much of the prognosis is based on what the player is telling them.
So even though he may be able to touch his nose with his finger he could still have cob webs affecting his decision making.
After watching how his head hit the ice I was speechless when he was announced as day to day.

I am sure the tests they performed are pretty comprehensive.

The test consists in one question
"Do you understand MSL's system ?"

If the guy answers "yes" he's immediately sidelined .

There have been no line changes. Marty is ecstatic that we showed up for a third of the game. There is zero accountability for vets and young players, besides a couple of them. Not hard to see why the players have mailed it in.

Back to back for Leafs. Weaker goaltender. No Matthews. If Habs don't win or at least keep it close this season is done.

There was accountability for ABB and Roy strangely. He prefered Heineman and Kapanen. One has been sent back to Europe and the other is doing nothing.

Badly managed rosters.

Heineman has been solid. Even scored a few goals. He's physically ready for the NHL, hasn't had issues with the pace. He's doing way more than nothing
