Can't disagree with any of those things.

But will the Bruins really pay Monty to go away? Won't that crush Mr. Burns to his core?
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing

..as long as Mr. Burns has a full TD Garden and profits are good, he won't change a thing

Going in soon but I haven’t been paying attention like usual so can’t comment on how they are playing

Looking at them like a job now

I got tickets so I will go - leave at 4 meet up for drinks and dinner, watch game, be home at 10:30

Business trip

I long for the days they were good but it was bound to happen

I bleed black & gold but I'm struggling to maintain interest in this season like @NeelyDan @4ORRBRUIN & @TD Charlie . I know, shocking.

I could stand it if they were working hard & were fun to watch. They are neither.

A shakeup is needed whether it's behind the bench, in the front office or in the locker room. Ideally it would be all three because this team as presently constituted is going nowhere.

:(:help:
Exactly where I'm at. This is a game of effort, emotion and drive, and it's obvious when it's not there. If they can't be bothered, neither can I is my mentality at this point.

Not me.

I hated when they would make the playoffs every year and then disappoint in the playoffs.

This is so much better.

Unfortunately this is where I'm at too. I've turned off more games this year than I've actually sat through, which is sad.

At least before, even if they were losing, they'd get angry or maybe you'd see someone step up and try to swing the momentum with a scrap, hit or just anything really.

This team goes down without a wimper. Last game against their rival, they got pushed around and didn't respond to anything other than a Marchand bearhug on the hit on Pastrnak. Domi must have chased McAvoy around 2-3 times trying to get him to fight and not one guy said "You know what, we're down 3-0, f*** Max Domi, I'm going to address that"

I just don't really see the intensity of compete with this current squad outside of the 4th line and occasionally Zadorov trying to maul someone on the back end.

Amen to the bolded. Show me SOMETHING! Anything. Give me a reason to watch.

I usually skip a game or two each season. By that, i mean i watch almost every game off the DVR and i skip commercials, but sometimes I will fast forward giant chunks at a time and finish a game in a half hour or so. This season I’ve already done it 4 times, and missed a game entirely.
The product in general is very bland and devoid of personality.

They don't hit. They don't fight. There's little intensity.

The skill level is off the charts, but it doesn't translate in terms of entertainment. The defensive systems and goaltending are just too good across the league.

I remember thinking my dad was just a grouchy old man because he'd rail on the sport in the 90s and say everything changed when they started wearing helmets, over-expanded and watered down the talent, and then they implemented the neutral zone trap.

I've reached the same point.

One of the biggest things these days for me is the fact that they'll hand out 10 minute misconducts for literally no other reason than two tough players being on the ice in the middle of the 3rd period after an intense game.

I think Maroon got a 10 minute misconduct last year against Florida for standing there. The game was chippy and they gave him the boot because "Well, he might do something?"

This was it. Look at the time on the clock, and what got him a 10 minute misconduct, lol.

Mcavoy is definitely scared of Domi and ran from him the whole game. Someone should have told him it wasn’t Tie.

I think its time to scratch Frederic.
When your top line guys are producing it makes the others complimentry. More focus is on the 3rd/4th lines guys because to be quite frank the top two lines have been dog poo . Everyone wants to scratch Freddy/Coyle/Geekie when the real problem has been Pasta/Marchy/Lindholm/Zacha/Mac/Carlo/ H Lindholm.

Mix master in over-drive ( again)

You might think Monty would get tired of cleaning the spaghetti off the wall and just go with one set of forward lines for more than a game.... looking for spontaneous chemistry is fools-gold and is one ( of several) reasons why the Bs have been shut out so many times
