A thousand miles from nowhere
Checking the team stats above even with limited playing time Lohrei leads the Bruins D in points per game. A defensive work in progress sure, a forward playing defense maybe, but definite offensive potential they could use.

Small sample size on a team that isn't scoring at all. Not saying a lot.

His numbers project to 8-24-32. Pretty good, unless he's a defensive liability as well.

I'm not worried about his playing time.

Wonder how long we can keep this going.

If Bruins lose to X, Monty will be gone by Yday.
Well....what's bothersome is basically everything.
Offence is horrible.
Star players not contributing.
Defensive mistakes.
Horrible PP.
Turn overs.
Penalties
Crappy PK.
And the back-up (to a certain extent) is out playing the ""franchise"" goalie.

Certain players benched, called out in the media when it's the entire team minus the 4th line who are not playing good.

I've been holding off on canning Monty but if we drop the next two that's it. Something's gotta change.

Can't disagree with any of those things.

But will the Bruins really pay Monty to go away? Won't that crush Mr. Burns to his core?

I bleed black & gold but I'm struggling to maintain interest in this season like @NeelyDan @4ORRBRUIN & @TD Charlie . I know, shocking.

I could stand it if they were working hard & were fun to watch. They are neither.

A shakeup is needed whether it's behind the bench, in the front office or in the locker room. Ideally it would be all three because this team as presently constituted is going nowhere.

Amen to the bolded. Show me SOMETHING! Anything. Give me a reason to watch.

I usually skip a game or two each season. By that, i mean i watch almost every game off the DVR and i skip commercials, but sometimes I will fast forward giant chunks at a time and finish a game in a half hour or so. This season I’ve already done it 4 times, and missed a game entirely.

Yeah it'll bother him, but no playoff $$$ and a chance at his name on another Cup would bother him way more IMO. He hasn't got many years left on this side of the grass and undoubtedly wants another chance.

Exactly! Some of those really bad teams in the mid/late 90’s and early 2000’s….at least showed some heart and grit. This is a boring version so far and very bland. Not even close to what a Bruins team should be.

Can’t believe they continue to get in the box on the PK while the other team sets up a shot.
