Marcia....Tom?
Honestly, either work at this stage.Marcia....
I still don't get this. Just because they got bigger doesn't mean everyone forgets how to play hockey. Them getting bigger and "slower" is that a factor to why they suck on the power play? Is that a reason our $8m goalie has been bad? Is size the reason the top 6 is producing next to nothing and are a collective -194194? The Bruins highest paid players have been arguably their worst.Wow the PK is putrid. Getting bigger and slower has really opened the door for other teams to expose us even further on the PK.
Clean it up guys....
On another note, watching us slide further into this rutt, tells me we are going to do the usual fire coach thing and not address the real issues with this team.

Who are the bigger slow guys? Seems like the big guys they've added are the only ones producing.
If the powerplay is even OK, they probably have another win or two this year.Agreed.
Giving up 3 power play goals a night (4 times this season?) has nothing to do with being bigger or slower.
Monty be lucky to make all star break at this rate.Shut out 3 times in first 14 games and 9 games 2 goals or less. Not even getting into the undisciplined play. From what Dom said the other night on his Podcast, Monty is fairly safe.
Probably because of the two wins against weak and/or tired teams.
IMO, this is a roller coaster team/season with more downs than up.
Get it done DS, move on from him. Clueless.
Well he didn't fall for no reason, drop his stick, trip a teammate, fall on the goalie, pass for an icing, put the puck in his own net, or take lazy/stupid penalties so he's not fully bought into the idiocy! As Our Stomachs Turn
He's fitting in quickly

This. Kastelic isn't slow. Zadorov isn't exactly fast, but I wouldn't say he's "slow"Good question. They aren't playing like shit because they're slow. They added four guys that are getting regular minutes and Zado is the slowest of them, and he isn't that slow, more middle of the road.
And you are right, I bet it still does not make you feel better.I have been saying this since the playoffs. THIS TEAM CANNOT SCORE GOALS
not to mention the 4 times in 14 games that we allowed 3 goals on the PK. I think it took 500 plus games to do that before. It seems that our top players are doing zero to help the team so they are taking penalties to at least get on the score sheet.Monty be lucky to make all star break at this rate.Shut out 3 times in first 14 games and 9 games 2 goals or less. Not even getting into the undisciplined play.
I look at Bruins PK and outside Carlo ,I see no shot blockers and definitely no physical players that go to corners quick and separate guys from pucks.Zadorov needs to play mean.This. Kastelic isn't slow. Zadorov isn't exactly fast, but I wouldn't say he's "slow"
The lack of success has less to do with that and everything to do with your top 6 forwards not producing and your highest paid d-man looking like Darnell Nurse light.
I understand why McAvoy was originally put on the PP, but it has not worked out, if he had success, I would understand the reluctance to take him off, but he has never been a big contributor on PP. Not like you are waiting for him to produce again. Don't get me wrong I am not McAvoy, hater, I just not sure where his game has gone.I think the special teams have regressed because McAvoy and Carlo have sucked. McAvoy ruins every PP and Carlo gets pushed around every PK.
Yep. Time for a change I think, just don't know who they would get. Monty knows his time is drawing near. A Brind 'Amour type would be awesome. All I know is that I'm done with this coaching "team."
Don't know if Sacco can do better but I'm ready and
willing to find out, if that is the route they go.
The other thing is that there needs to be some common
sense in regards to the coaching whether defense, PP, PK
whatever aspect, they're all failing IMO.
The whole "system" that they are playing is the weirdest that I've
seen since the malaise of the Dave Lewis era.
I've see enough of that for a lifetime.
That is fine, but roster changes are a must also.Yep. Time for a change I think, just don't know who they would get. Monty knows his time is drawing near. A Brind 'Amour type would be awesome.
They seem to "go all out" when they're down 2 goals with 5 minutes left in the game.To me it just seems like they expected all this to be easier. When they win they go all out, but that seems to be the result of frustration and motivation for one game, not the game plan for the season.
Agreed. I see articles about teams being interested in Frederick and I would pull the trigger on that. Even for a pick and free up a bit of cap space. Bring Lysell up. Can't be worse than it already is.That is fine, but roster changes are a must also.
Really Pasta, and are you still "having fun?"“I mean honestly it was a tough loss, but I feel like we’ve been right there for the most part of the game and the special teams obviously hurt us, and we didn’t do the job on the power play, and they did,” said David Pastrnak,
