Absolutely terrible PK and PP did them in. The lack of adjustments to the PP is infuriating. This game was there for the taking in the 1st period. Would have had the Leafs on their heels for the rest of the game had they even a respectable PP. Entry's are embarrassing. Trying to force the same one or two plays when they do eventually get set up.

Pastrnak looking this disinterested is concerning to me. Thought being back with Marchand might have sparked him, but no.

Let's face it, this team cannot score. They had the same problems last year (but not quite as bad) and when Pasta or Marchand aren't scoring they virtually have no offense at all. Obviously the difference in power plays made a difference, but that's part of it. They do not have the scoring talent they need to be a cu[p contender and as is, this team is going nowhere.

hate losing to the Leafs. Just hate it.

Tough night all around for a lot of folks. Didn't see the game but i was getting text updates from my buddy who's a Leafs fan. Same problems. Ineffective power play, can't score 5v5.

Stay safe ya'll is all i'm going to say for those out there since i don't want to incur rage/wrath.

Not even one lousy goal.

If the Bruins are going to make a coaching change, they’ll never fly lower under the radar than tomorrow.
From what Dom said the other night on his Podcast, Monty is fairly safe.
Probably because of the two wins against weak and/or tired teams.
IMO, this is a roller coaster team/season with more downs than up.
Get it done DS, move on from him. Clueless.

The lack of finish against Philly and Seattle seemed like an endless comedy of errors.

Tonight, though, the Leafs' goalie was phenomenal.

So far other than Florida, the Atlantic is mired in mediocrity. So if the B's beat the teams they are supposed to beat, hustle and steal a few wins against better teams, the playoffs are doable.

And they'd be entering the playoffs playing desperate hockey, for a change.

I do think by April/May the Panthers may be less formidable/fatigued, so you never know.

My issue is, at 56, I'm not as much of a results person as I was when I was younger. Of course I'd love to see the Bruins win another Cup. But I'm ok watching entertaining hockey; which right now this is not.

I'll add that goes for some of the out of town games I've watched, too. Structured defenses, sound technical goalies (who are huge), and long spurts of low-event hockey.
