I watched this one recorded via NHL.tv and 10 minutes of gametime were cut out from about 15 to go in the 2nd to 5. I was confused, but apparently nothing of great import occurred.
Kesselring is coming along nicely and has stepped up with Durzi down. Sergachev is great, but the concern is his ability to keep up these minutes.
I kind of wonder if the inability to do much aside from clear in the 3rd was to do with the defense being exhausted. Winning the puck and getting it back to them for a cleaner transition wasn't happening. Granted the Blues were pressing as they had to, but just chipping it out wasn't doing anything but allowing the Blues to regroup and push it back in. Hopefully that's the case rather than the forwards and coaches just not figuring out a way to breakthrough the hard forecheck.
