I feel a bit bipolar on Ferraro. Sometimes I think he could be a decent #6. Other times I want him launched into space. Rare example of a player who needs less confidence.

He could be. Unfortunately, I think he's too far gone now he is more of a #7.

His fundamentals are so poor and he has never been held accountable. It's sad that they still don't want to.

Basically he's always chasing the puck so it looks like he's working hard and coaches like that. He has a high motor and blocks a lot of shots. But he never actually breaks up a cycle or intercepts a pass because he's too f***ing slow to actually get there first and has no puck skills to take advantage of a bouncing puck. Just atrocious to see him get minutes over Walman.

I would really want to trade Ferraro just to see if there can be a coach, a team or a change of scenery that could help him become more balanced defencemen. It's just hasnt worked here... and that needs to be addressed. It's time for others to get a shot and we happen to have two of our best defensive prospects being LD.

Wow, that's surprising. Maybe he just blocks a lot of "memorable" shots? Maybe it's a confirmation bias? Either way, he's just terrible and needs to be launched into the sun as soon as Mukhamadullin is healthy.
