Guys on the VK pass to Kreider on the rush, it’s tough to corral a pass sent to your backhand when your on a rush going hard 5 feet from the net with your stick in a forehand spot. Mika is nifty at taking those passes and getting it to his forehand usually between his legs for a little extra shmaltz, but a move like takes about 10 feet of ice to cover to get it done when skating full speed and Kreider had no room to maneuver. He had to stop to reach back for it on his backhand and the play would have been nada anyway at that point.

He didn't get saved by the crossbar at the end. The puck barely had any room to go through. If it doesn't hit the crossbar, it doesn't go through.

Both times they hit the bar in the last few min? When we hit the bar we’re unlucky and snakebit, when the opposition does its just perfect goalie positioning and a regular wide shot…

It's not all or none. That last shot squeezed through and hit the post. If it was under the post it wouldn't have gotten through. We're not unlucky, most of our shot selection sucks. I'm not calling his play great. I'm just calling what that last shot was.

Terrible D zone play and Shesty sliding back into his net on the shot leaving lots of room upstairs… he’s very iffy in these low shot games….
