At this point MSL should split-up Caufield and Suzuki, and try to make 2 scoring lines instead of just the one we have right now.

We need a spark, any spark. And I feel that something like the following could maybe semi-work?

Newhook/Suzuki/Slafkovsky
Caufield/Dach/Heineman

Let Gallagher, Anderson, Evans, Dvorak, Armia, Pezzetta, and Condotta run the bottom-line duties.

Either way, if the team doesn't play with some energy the next 3-4 games we could seal the fate of our "competitive" season right here and there.

13 games in and most of us have already lost faith.
This was never the 'actual' year we were going to start winning again like its a lightswitch anyway

The real ones always knew it was still 1-2 years away
This year being a total 'wild card', this is why the 'in the mix' thing even became a thing (not promising playoffs)
Deep down everyone knows we're not 'actually' ready to be a playoff team, not yet

It's just as hockey fans, it would of been neat to see our team 'win' more than it 'lost' this season
But after that disaster game where we lost 2 guys for months
It obviously cracked the team a bit and the excitement bubble popped
And others started getting hurt as well

Whole thing was a recipe for a bad start to the year, so let's see how we look after December if things get a little better
But if they don't?

That's the beauty, doesn't really matter 'this year', but it is truly the final year this sort if thing can happen also.

I remain optimistic for the future regardless

Woah, easy there bro. I wasn't commenting on the state of the world lol. The world has been in a mess since covid so it isn't anything to do with that for me. I was just hoping to see our young players take the next step and they haven't done that.
Yikes they got you all riled up !

I like to pin point the player we have that fits the most the opposite team for each game.

I feel Slafkovsky has a Devil vibe to him.

For Flyers, it was Cayden Primeau.

Caufield would be a good San Jose/Kings fit.

Ghule would be a good Oilers fit.

Blowout loss incoming, I wonder if it'll be enough to finally get a proper tank thread. Genuinely wondering what's taking so long, time to face reality and cut the ''in da mix'' hopium bs.
I wouldn't bet on it. History repeating itself around these parts but I'm not even surprised. Hopefully it won't get nearly as messy as the last time the forbidden word thread wasn't allowed here.

It's not allowed on the GDT but are we not allowed to start a Tank Thread?
