So Hutson sort of has the guy behind the net, Anderson has the guy in the corner, Dvorak is near to but not covering his man. Gallagher is covering the point man (not in photo) and offering puck support up the boards. Savard is covering no one. He really should be in front of the net.

Anderson & Gallagher are doing their jobs. Savard & Dvorak are not. Hutson also needs to be closer to his guy because Anderson loses the puck battle and the puck goes to his player behind net. Hutson is too late to check him & tries to block the pass, but fails. Absolutely no one is covering the slot (Savard needs to be there).

All 5 guys should not be on same side of ice. This is crazy. This is Dallas Eakins when he was with the Oilers type defense.
 
Gally must have started some cardio as the last couple of years he could barely last 30 secs on a shift while skating slowly!
 
Good for Gallagher, if he keeps playing like this to end his Montreal career on and leaves us something positive to remember him by (talking about recent years not what he's done in the past) I won't complain and call him a worthless bum or a corpse on skates anymore I promise.

No need to be 2 in the corner if it’s a 1-1 battle

If Anderson has the guy, Savard should have the guy covered by D-Vo on the picture
Gally has to be lower to cut off the access to the middle
D-Vo has to realize it’s the RW in the corner and he should be high slot to cut off the acceess for… Sieghentaler who scores
