I expect Ullmark to show up big time tonight and take the helm and be our best player night in and night like we saw a mini preview of in game 1.

hopefully these last 10 games will be remembered for Forsberg and Gaudette keeping us afloat while Green got the team in order and Ullmark overcame the injury to roar back and take over. There was a playoff game in Boston where Patrick Roy checked himself out of a hospital after surgery to play because his team was losing the series and he got like 50 saves and became a hero. Getting those types of vibes from Ullmark tonight, time to show up and let the world know you’re the top dog and it’s your team, and it’s your net. Don’t wait for the coach to give it to you, take it.

I know its a running joke around here but honestly, the way Good Wilson answers the question with how he phrases his question is the most counterproductive shit ever.

I did a leadership retreat once and there was an entire afternoon spent on not doing exactly that.

I’d like to think of this as a big game…. but unfortunately, we’ve seen enough to know this Sens team is nothing more than a bubble team, at best. Hard to consider any game as big when that’s the case.

Au contraire, when you're a bubble team every game could be the difference between making and missing the playoffs. If we were a very good team, we could afford to lose a game here or there without worrying about missing the playoffs.

If they come out like they did against the Rangers, I could see this being a good win, 4-0 or 4-1.

If they come out like they did against Buffalo, where they played as though they were entitled to a win, they're gonna lose another one 5-1.

Goalie's gotta earn that contract.

Around the bend
Part of a serious November skid dashing any playoff hopes, or a big win for Linus against his old team?

Hope the boys show up and play hard for their new goalie on what is certainly a meaningful game for him.

And they have managed to heap pressure on themselves early in November once again. Historically any pressure and they fold. Need to start changing their own narrative if they want to be in the race in the new year.

We can’t lose 3 in a row, and we are playing a division rival that’s a notch or two below what they used to be.

There is no excuses.

Media pundits like to deflect by saying that the 3rd pairing doesn’t have a huge impact on the game.

Whether or not you agree with that, there can still be injuries or penalties that can mess with your depth in the middle of a game.

This is do or die game of the season already for the Sens, win this and you have chance to have better start of the season since once upon a time ago. Lose this and you put serious doubt over playoff this season and the core going forward.
