Knoblauch "demoting" RNH to the third line while also building something of a third scoring unit out of he, Henrique and Brown is an absolute dream come true. That's how you win games long-term- stressing personal accountability and spreading the wealth.
Feels like they're quarantining the three guys who couldn't score to save their lives on one line.

Move Henrique to Ryan spot and play Evander 3LW once he comes back. That would be a damn good forward lineup

That describes two-thirds of the second line as well.

Can we actually score some goals tonight? This lack of offense, especially at home, is getting worrying.
Their paltry efforts at home make me wonder if the boys are indulging in too much home cookin'

Score some goals and stop making these garbage goalies look like superstars. Enough is enough now.

Oh, and win the game.

Crazy that Hill has a worse save percentage than Skinner but is still 5 and 2.
goals. Scoring goals helps to win game.

We have a few more wins if we scored an extra goal or two, instead we slap perimeter shots with no one in front of the net and end up with 40-50 shots and 2 goals.

Edm held the fort without Mcdavid very well. 2-1 record and likely should have been 3-0 had they been able to score last game. They deserved a lot better. That said, I want Leon to continue his play as well. Don’t revert back to standing around. He’s a beast when he moves his legs and gives a damn. Lol

Am I the only one that's worried that this is too soon for McDavid to be coming back? That wasn't long at all and I'm quite certain he isn't 100%.

Unless you're a medical professional that has viewed and treated the injury personally such that you'd be able to give a qualified opinion there isn't a basis for concern.

Hate that Philp is down. Sometimes you just gotta open a spot for a young guy and give them a chance. Here’s a guy who showed well in 2 straight games, who is building his confidence, and boom, he’s back down.

We’ve bungled so many prospects this way, constantly sending them up and down, playing the waiver wire avoidance game. You need to manage your team with some eye on the future, otherwise you’re just wasting draft picks over and over. Whether by not realizing what you have before they get plucked by another team, or finding out too late and not wanting to pay them.

If this means not resigning the Derek Ryan’s of the world, just to have a slot open for prospects, you just do it.

Well, I guess we now see why Ryan is in. Philp sent down to Bakersfield.
I liked Philp and what he can bring, but could clearly see as he played more games, he was getting overwhelmed a bit. Still needs some seasoning, but good for him to get a cup of hot coffee.

I persoanlly think he brings a little more then Ryan to the table, but I get why they did it. The cap accrual will be crucial, and Philp is waiver exempt. The way it goes sometimes.

He made one glaring mistake that caused a too many men so he got the bench. That’s been consistent for the last 3 or 4 coaches.. young guys get no ice time unless they are perfect but if you’re a 3-5 million cap hit middle six winger you get infinite leash

Just griping.. I liked Philp but as you said, more seasoning. And as said above, the cap hit accrual and lack of waivers makes it easier to swallow

If RNH continues to play like he has, he'd better be sitting for a shift or 3.
