The bad: Gave up shitty first goal, got completely outplayed 80% of the game, doubled up on shots, shit turnover.

The good: no injury that we know of. So that's better than the past 2 weeks

For all the talent and the great things he brings to a team on the offensive side of the puck, you want to strangle him. Two horrible turnovers against Philly and tonight with under 3 to go in tied games that literally cost the team needed points.

Crybaby Kyrou's? Is that like Classless Subban's?

He is and never will be a top tier player. He is a support player, a complementary piece that can put a team over the top. But you don't want him out there in key spots against equal or better competition because hes a low IQ selfish crybaby.

He thrived in 2022 because people like 57, 91, ROR and others were eating up minutes against top tier talent, allowing Cryrou to match up against teams 2nd/3rd lines and 2nd PK units. He will NEVER get 40 goals here unless he wants to be a -50 player on a terrible team.

He must be traded before this franchise can move forward. Krug and Kyrou are cancers to this team.

The Blues just didn't seem to have it tonight. They need some of the younger players (especially their skilled forwards), to start scoring. That's why I don't agree that Bolduc should be sent down to The AHL. I think he should get more minutes up with The Blues.

Agreed 1000% he should get more minutes. It's insane to me he only got 9 minutes of ice time tonight. He's passing the eye test IMO and all the stats I'm seeing look very promising as well.

Blues just aren't anything more than a Wild Card team. And thats before we racked up long-term injuries to our #1 C, our top 2 LHD, and also has smaller injuries to a couple middle 6 forwards.

They are playing multiple players who are better off as wingers down the middle and are playing 3 players who they planned rotating as the 6th Dman every night.

We aren't a contender, we are transitioning still and we lost multiple players before the 15 game mark. No one on this team can carry this team by themselves. We don't have a McDavid, we don't have a Crosby, we don't have an Ovi.

You thought the Blues were going to win? JK

Id trade Kyrou for the right package and give guys like Bolduc his role.

Kyrou drives me insane and his game isnt progressing. Its the same ole same ole. Im convinced he is a gifted idiot.

We have a lot of forwards that are about to start pouring in in the next few seasons and that makes Kyrou expendable. One of them will hit.

Trading him for a young top-4 D would be ideal.

The injuries really played a role in a game like this.

1.46 xGF is absolutely brutal. There just isn’t nearly enough talent on this team. Gotta stop beating teams we have no business beating so we can fall to the bottom. Need a serious influx of talent.
Agreed. We are just not a good enough team to shooting for the playoffs while missing 3 regular players from the top 1/2 of the lineup. The wins against Toronto and Tampa are flukes.

This team is going to destroy all of Bolduc's offensive instincts.

*edit didn’t mean to quote this post or even post anything i was trying to close an annoying f****** pop up ad. lol

Tough break at the end there. More than anything I felt like the Blues should’ve had more shots, what they’d have like 15 shots all game?

Kyrou giveth and Kyrou taketh away. He's way too careless with the puck at times and doesn't seem to be improving in that regard. We probably had no business winning this game due to the huge shot differential but it's frustrating to just gift two points to the other team like that again.

3 game goal streak for Kyrou?
But he's not even allowed to score. The Bum just can't do anything right.

You were saying? Three game goal streak is great. Almost cancels out the ten game goalless streak that came before it.

I'd add Parayko's play into the good column. Another night where he logs really big minutes and is activating for offense on the rush. I don't think he has the in-zone offensive instincts to ever drive offense during sustained in-zone pressure, but he has the tools to contribute offensively off the rush. Medium term, it would be great if he can add that rush activation into his game on a consistent basis.

That 3 point night is not going to happen all that often, so I don't see him being able to sustain the 52 pace he's currently on. But he's at a 37 point pace if you completely remove the 3 point night, which would be a career-best.

This team's medium-term outlook is better if he can adapt his game into that 35-40 point range.

40+ point range with his defensive skill and usage is getting hin into that true 1D category we need. He'd still be a low end, and I'd like my 1D to gave a better breakout pass. But he'd be making an impact consistently in both ends of the ice which is something we don't have in a D.

I would love for him to hit that 35-40 point mark. If Broberg comes back and continues his play that could definitely make a solid 1st pair next year. Especially with Broberg's skating.
