Someone I can relate to. Growing up in Mtl as a teenager from the early to mid 80's, being a B's fan was a cruel and lonely place.

Not sure about you, but I may be a marvel of modern science with never having required counselling, LOL.
You're lucky you weren't around in the seventies when they won all the cups in the second half of that decade. Habs fans were insufferable back then.

Now they have to be quiet. They used to love to remind me how many cups they've won. They don't say that as much anymore and when they do I just ask them how many they have seen. The answer is usually zero. Anyone younger than 35 years old hasn't seen any and if they have they don't remember. If they look older than 35 then you don't ask the question but people older than 35 are usually smart enough not to talk about cups given the last 30 years.

I too made it through without completely losing my mind, though there are those who would beg to differ.

Germany one of those places that I assumed I would wish I was in a different county at dinner time after a few days of sausage... but some good food over there!

I picked this to be a tie on my proline (doesn’t matter who wins as long as it goes to overtime)

Obviously I hope it’s the Bruins, lol

Can‘t deal with the texture of mashed potatoes or anything else mashed and hot. Squash, oatmeal, etc.

My grandmother pretty much served the entire thanksgiving dinner mashed, aside from turkey, green beans and rolls.

Mashed potatoes, mashed carrots, turnip, stuffing.

Even the cranberry sauce was the type closer to applesauce…not the canned kind.

TG dinner for me was pretty much turkey and a dinner roll growing up.

lol
Me too. I like some stuffing. I like green beans and broccoli.

My kid doesn't eat meat so Thanksgiving isn't a big eating day for her.

I don’t always post on this forum, but when I do, it’s just say that, I really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really don’t like the Montréal Canadiens or anything associated with them.

I can’t recommend anywhere from firsthand experience, but when Mrs. 103 and I eventually visit Montreal, one place definitely on the to-do list is the “Poutineville” restaurant. How could we not?

By the way… our Boston Bruins well represented on this map.

Most places in and around the Bell Center are typically packed ahead of an event. The high today will be about 40 degrees; however if they don't mind walking anywhere from 5-8 minutes, some nice places would include Mister Steer on Saint Catherine / McLean's Pub on Peel / Brutopia on Crescent.

Hoping for a big win by the B's to have made the drive worthwhile.

“Mister Steer slaps!”

Thanks for the rec!
