NEW YORK ISLANDERS (5-6-2) @ OTTAWA SENATORS (6-6-0)
TV: TSN5, RDSI | Radio: TSN 1200, 94.5 Unique-FM
Following this morning’s skate, head coach Travis Green announced there would be a few changes to the Senators’ lineup. Defenceman Artem Zub will make his return tonight after missing the past nine games with an injury. Zub last played on October 14 in an 8-7 overtime win against the Los Angeles Kings. Zub, a steady presence on defence, will be a welcome return.

No timeline for Perron's return but he is back with the team skating.

Haven't heard an update on Pinto but he's also skating so my guess is he's back this weekend.
Thanks L'Aveuglette.

I suppose Perron is getting up to game speed after being out for a few games.

Anyone know what is Pinto's issue?

This team looks pathetic against weaker teams, it’s those “winnable” games that sink us every time. This being a home game and coming off a pathetic loss against Buffalo, I expect a winning effort from the Sens with the return of No Lube Zub.

Go Sens Go!

We did beat the Blues pretty good. They're probably comparable to the Islanders.

The Isles are the lowest scoring team in the East.

Let's get shut out number three for Forsberg or if Ullmark starts, shut out number 1!

So they're on a scoring slump, eh?

Playing Forsberg is the right thing to do. Ullmark needs to show more if he wants to get more starts.
You just paid him 8 mil. Get him playing every game.

Excited to see Zub again, and by extension an effective Jake Sanderson.
Are you ready to see a terrible kleven?

Hire tierney for analytics. Immediately dismiss all data because “but he’s a vet?”

Was there also an injury with Perron or something? Would figure once he was back with the team he would be playing.

Forsberg right choice, UllMark gets the Bruins game on Saturday.
If Forsberg is good tonight I say let him start until he isn't.

Excited to see Zub again, and by extension an effective Jake Sanderson.
I expect there to be some rust on Zub that he'll need to work through, but yeah, hopefully this allows Sanderson to unclench.

Not sure he is back, just started practicing again this week,

Maybe just practicing when team is home, as hasn’t done any road trips yet.
