Nobody tries to get open int he hashmark area to even one time pucks. It's always back to the D

They've been a very good high danger scoring team. This year the shots are among elite but the finish hasn't yet arrived NHL EDGE Puck and Player Tracking Statistics - Teams

That sequence was great puck control with no effort to push the puck into the hard ice scoring area.

its very evident oilers have the lowest shooting % in the league due to volume perimeter shots, inability to crash the net and piss poor finishing off the rush (see derek ryan)

Oilers are a low snipe ability team... outside of Drai there's no one you can consistently say will score given high quality chances.

It takes 2 or 3 times the quality chances to bury that other teams seem to pot easily.
