I mean I get it, maybe not 11 games but there's no reason Halak should get 30 games. I don't really care that it's the new thing in the NHL. We have arguably the best goalie in the NHL and the team has struggled to score. Why is it ok for Vasi who is older to get more games than that?

Vasi only started 52 games in 2020 and 2021 was basically half a season.

He's also a lot bigger than Shesterkin and plays for the team that has given up the fewest shots since like 2018.

Admittedly I don't know how their weights compare but Lunqvist is like an inch taller than Shesty and we rode him.

I actually have always argued that Lundqvist until 2012 was extremely inconsistent in the playoffs so I'm not going to argue too much. I just feel like the Rangers need to have a good stretch because they've been mediocre and Halak in net makes it extremely difficult because he sucks.

We might not even make the playoffs if we play Halak too much.
 
Best part about this 5 pm start is that it eases us into the darkness of Standard Time, putting a nice black cloud over our souls and mental health. May the losing truly start.
