The thing is, if Richards was to play with those two for a whole 82 game season he'd be lucky to have 15 points at EV. Do you think those are the kinds of players he should be playing with?

You could put anyone on the team with those two and they'd look like a third liner. Even Kopitar.

Last season too, there were huge stretches where Richards didn't contribute much offensively.

He is a third line player, do I agree the Kings need to upgrade who he is playing with on that 3rd line? absolutely. And that is for DL to address because players like Stoll, Lewis, King and Penner aren't cutting it at all in those roles.

And if you don't think the Kings need another scorer, preferably a center, I don't know what to say.
