Much better defensive effort with fewer mistakes. Unfortunately, this is coinciding with our forwards forgetting how to play int he Pens Zone.

Anisimov muddled another rush with a pass. Last 15 minutes of that period were terrible for shots and getting in their zone.

The shot after the pass has a higher percentage chance of getting in. Anisimov made the right play there, just had the puck picked of by a fantastic back check.

Felt like a snowball period. We were good the first 5 minutes but kept getting worse as the period rolled on. Last 10 minutes went by without a quality shot. TONS of turnovers in the neutral zone and at the Pens blueline

Yeah... Arty is one of the two best shooters we have... he passed off two shots... if nothing else there may have been a rebound off their young goalie..

Jackets have not been the same I remember late last year.. recently even 13 seems to be mssing...

Murray is playing like a veteran.. he's going to be a great one in time.

Yeah in that situation you need to shoot low. Either get lucky and slide one through or get a solid rebound opportunity.
