I realize the game isn't until tomorrow, but I have doubts I'll be able to post it then, so decided to start it a little early.

Today the Winnipeg Jets will face their divisional rivals St. Louis Blues in the fine state of Missouri. The Jets are coming off an impressive 5-3 win over the Arizona Coyotes, but it wasn't exactly a clean win. They could have played better in the first two periods.
Time for them to stop monkeying around and trying to be cute
We need to get a clean victory here so all of us can celebrate in true monkey style
Okay, enough monkey jokes. Now, let's talk about the line-up....

WE INTERRUPT THIS GDT WITH AN IMPORTANT NEWS BULLETIN
A pair of monkeys have just escaped from the St, Louis zoo. One of the zoo workers accidently left their cage door open, and the pair have wandered off.
One of the zoo workers, Gibbon McBanana, has stated that the two primates are huge hockey fans. Apparently they saw a preview of the hockey game and realized the Winnipeg Jets will be in town. Gibbon states that they both applied to work at Sportsnet in Canada, but were not hired due to being too intelligent.

Uh oh. Hopefully those monkeys don't get on the wrong side of the law and are forced to go on trial.
True. I guess they have nothing to fear.
Now, a victory would certainly improve the mood around here. I'd personally flip out with a satisfying win
I think we'd all dance a jig with a big win, wouldn't we?
And if anyone drops the gloves tonight, how should we react?
Uh, okay, thanks Homer, I guess.
Anything to add, Mark Chimpman?

Winnipeg Jets: 5-4-2, 12 Points, 3rd in Central
St. Louis Blues: 5-4-1, 11 Points, 4th in Central

That's all, folks. Now to treat myself with a nice banana.
