Like adding Bergie and Krecji at the deadline ?
Have them join a few practices after Christmas, then sign them just before the deadline.
A guy can dream.
Wouldn't that be nice! I do think if someone is available that is a long term centre.solution and they can pay them with excess cap space that would be ideal. As well as a tough sob defenceman. My wish list anyways

Do you mean like the "talent" to discern the other team thought Marchand was doing something worthy of wanting to injure him, instead of a little "Welcome to the big leagues" funny business?

I'm definitely seeing a pattern here: Thomas and Swayman vs Rask and Ullmark. It becomes quite apparent when you look at their birthplaces.
yes

You aren't wrong on that!
Feels a bit 2011 ish with Thomas. No cup without him. Maybe not even out of the first round. I'll take a lights out goalie or goalies

Our goaltending situation is a big reason we lost last year - Ullmark was clearly hurt, and Monty responded with poor decisions.

But Ullmark healthy, or swayman in earlier, we’re in the finals and I think we would have been very difficult for Vegas to beat.

Swayman is amazing, and I love his snarl. He’s got a bit of tenacity to his game, but without looking like an idiot like Binnington.

Im thrilled with the way the team is playing, but what happened to Freddie? He looks awful out there. Half the game he’s invisible, the other half he’s a horror show.

Beginning to think Steen and Heinen are the better option on that 4th line. But always room for Lucic espEcially after that Detroit game. Tough decisions when the injured are ready to return

Random thoughts about last night.
Swayman is dialed in, what a luxury to have the tenders we do!

Heinen is playing very well, his board work has been great. Speed, passing, solid in the d-zone. I’d like to see him with Matty P and T Fred on the 3rd line.
So happy for Beecher to get his first goal, what a snipe as well. He has been solid on the 4th line.
Almost equally happy for Mason, the kid has it. Lots of work to do to round out his game, but the tools and the toolbox are very apparent.
Crazy start to the season, I thought we would be ok, but great goaltending and an increased physical, forecheck has me pleasantly surprised. It’s been a fun, but nerve racking start.

Agree with most everything above. It was a really good game for Heinen. Fourth line as a whole was dominant in their match ups. Nice goals by the rookies. Swayman fantastic. PP showed substantial improvement. Also thought it was Mitchell's best game as a Bruin as well.

Close low score games. Get used to it.

This team could turn into a force and have a better run than last year (i.e. playoff wins this time).

Our defence was also a big bag of flaming garbage, for whatever reasons,Charlie game 7 may have been the worse performance I have ever seen bye a defenceman in any game I have ever watched.Man why are we reliving the playoffs again.I can’t take it again.Pleas stop people.Lol
